Some Report

Just a few miracles that have occurred over the last few weeks:

One of the staff members at the Bible College has been trying to build a church in the village where he pastors. However, the people are so poor that raising funds has been difficult. He took a job as a night clerk at an insurance office in order to help with the building program. While working a man came into the office and asked our pastor about his church. The pastor responded: I have a church, but I don’t have a church. He then explained he has a group of people who gather together every week but he has not been able to construct a building. The man instantly offered to give $1200 for the building project! This will cover a major portion of his expenses.

At a recent meeting I was preaching about the healing of the lame man in Acts 3. When the meeting ended and people came forward to testify about their healing, one lady was particularly enthusiastic. She testified that she had been brought to the meeting and was in fact lame when she arrived, unable to even stand. But after we prayed in Jesus name she was healed and walking on her own strength!

One of our students at the Bible College this year found himself in trouble with the law this summer. He prayed for a local boy who was under the influence of a demon. As he prayed the devil left the boy. The parents then called a leader of another religion to come and offer a prayer of celebration. When that man arrived, the devil returned and our student was accused of doing black magic (because in their mind there was no way Jesus could have more power then their god). Recently I asked the student if the issue had been resolved. He replied, nothing has been decided yet (he could face serious troubles if found guilty of using black magic against a person of the main religion here) but that if he had to go to jail for his faith he would gladly start a jail ministry for Jesus! What faith! He is completely willing to give his life to preach the gospel and I know God will honour that great faith.

As a final testimony… this past week 5 students at our college were baptized in Jesus name and on Saturday 5 students received the gift of the Holy Ghost! That means all 24 of our students are now baptized in water and Spirit in accordance to God’s word!

I’m so thrilled about what God is doing in this nation!
